Eyeliner Tattoo Aftercare

YAY!! Congratulations, You are either considering, preparing for or have just had your Eyeliner tattooed with semi-permanent ink. Be prepared for about about 10 - 14 days of healing and treatment.

CONTENTS OF AFTERCARE BAG:

Cotton Rounds

Small container of Aquaphor mixed with After Ink Healing Balm

Cotton Tips

Distilled Sterile Water

DO’s:

•Get pictures of the way you like your eyeliner or what you want and send me photos through text message two weeks prior to your appointment so i can make any time adjustments necessary.

•Please come to your appointment with totally clean eyes, and zero makeup on them, mascara included.

•All Lash Extensions should be thoroughly removed before the procedure and not within 48 hours of the procedure to avoid any further irritation of the procedure to the eye area.

•After the procedure, Keep your eyes clean by avoiding touching them, except with freshly clean hands or a qtip.

•Apply a rice sized amount of Aquaphor, divided in half, used evenly on each eye. 3 x’s a day until any scabs are gone completely.

•Cold Compress or cotton pads soaked in the included distilled sterile water - about once an hour for the first one to two days, to reduce swelling if needed.

•Wear a hat and glasses while and after you heal. Sun exposure fades your fresh Permanent Makeup.

DON’TS:

  • NO Picking, pulling any scabs that may form anywhere near your freshly worked on area.
  • NO deliberate heavy sun exposure for 30 days before or after the procedure. Sun exposure fades permanent makeup and can ashen your ink into a grayish hue.
  • No heavy workouts for 14 days - refrain from sweating. The salt in sweat, kicks the ink out of the skin
  • No pool, hot tub, natural body of water, sauna, or heavy exercise in the first seven to ten days. Keep them dry other than the recommended moisturizing instructions. Do not swim in any salt water for at least two weeks out from your procedure.
  • No Lash Growth Enhancement Serum at least 6 weeks before or after your procedure. This actually reduces your skins ability to retain ink; causes more vascularity, which increases risk of blowouts; and also can fade or alter your ink color significantly.
  • No recent use of Rx Retinol in the eye area within 4 weeks before and after; or any treatment of Accutane within one full year prior to your procedure. This compromises your skins integrity and can cause severe trauma to your skin.
  • No Blood Thinners for at least 2 days prior (you must get clearance from your physician)
  • No Fish oil for at least two weeks prior to the procedure.
  • No makeup on any area with fresh permanent makeup for about 7 to 10 days. This would increase risk of an infection. Wipe and thoroughly clean all eyeliners with alcohol, any powders need to be cleaned out with a dry kleenex and spritzed with alcohol; and you must discard any old mascara and purchase a new one for use.

Thinking of getting your lips Tattooed? Here's what you need to know!

YAY!! Congratulations, You have just had your Lips tattooed with semi-permanent ink. Be prepared for about about 14 days of healing and treatment.

CONTENTS OF AFTERCARE BAG:

Small container of Aquaphor Healing Balm

Cotton Rounds Dial Soap

Distilled Sterile Water

After Inked Balm Pillow Pack

DO’s:

•Two weeks prior to your appointment, begin gently exfoliating and moisturizing your lips. Ink takes better in moisturized skin. It also applies more evenly. You can use equal parts raw ingredients - olive oil, sea salt, sugar, and a dash of lemon juice - to gently exfoliate; or your favorite lip exfoliating and moisturizing products.

•If you have EVER gotten even one cold sore ever in your life, or if your mother, or partner gets them, you likely also have the Herpes Simplex 1 virus in your system. You need to call your Dr, and get a Valtrex Rx for 7 days, to start 3 days prior to your procedure, and continue until 3 days after.

•Immediately after the procedure apply a rice to pea sized ( both Combined, not that much each) amount of both AI Balm and Aquaphor, with a qtip.

•Cold Compress or cotton pads soaked in the included distilled sterile water - about once an hour for the first 1-2 days, to reduce swelling if needed.

•Wash 2 x's a day - Use your ring fingers from each hand and put a pea sized drop of the included dial soap onto your freshly wettened ring finger tips (using the included sterile distilled water); gently lather into a circular motion over the area you’ve just had done. Use a cotton round to cleanse. Allow to air dry. Then put a thin layer of balm over the area.

•Apply sunscreen moisturizer and chapstick daily after healing. Sun exposure fades your fresh Permanent Makeup.

DON’TS:

•Avoid Botox 2 weeks before or after appointments, and visa versa; Avoid Fillers three months before or after appointments, and visa versa.

•NO licking your lips. Licking can cause a blistery bacterial infection.

•NO Picking, pulling any scabs that may form anywhere near your freshly worked on area.

•NO deliberate heavy sun exposure for 30 days before or after the procedure. Sun exposure fades permanent makeup.

•No heavy workouts for 14 days - refrain from sweating. The salt in sweat, kicks the ink out of the skin

•No pool, hot tub, natural body of water, sauna, or heavy exercise in the first seven to ten days. Keep them dry other than the recommended moisturizing instructions.

•No makeup on any area with fresh permanent makeup for about 7 to 10 days. Thoroughly replace or clean all lip products with alcohol before resuming use after healing.
